Step 1

Install the plugin

Add the DesignMD — Import Design Tokens plugin from the Figma Community. Then open any Figma file and run it from Plugins → DesignMD.

Step 2

Connect your account

Click Connect account — it opens your browser to sign in. No API key or password to copy; authorize once and the plugin remembers you.

Step 3

Pick a generation & import

Choose one of your completed generations. The plugin writes everything into a dedicated DesignMD Tokens page.

What gets imported

Variables — colors, spacing, radius, border widths, opacity, z-index (a "DesignMD Tokens" collection).
Styles — paint (colors), text (typography), and effect (shadows) styles.
A visual board — swatches, a type scale, spacing, shadows and more, laid out as real layers.
